CARDIO
3-D MUSCLE TRAINING: This challenging work-out targets your body as it moves forward, sideways, and as it rotates, training your muscles in a three dimensional fashion. You will use weights, cables, and your own body weight. In addition to training your muscles you will increase your stamina, gain core strength, and work smaller stabilizers for sports, work, and your daily life. (55 minutes)
BLT BOOT CAMP (Butt, Legs, and Thighs): Total lower body shaping exercises, incorporating cardio, weights, plyo
-metrics and Pilates-based moves. (55 Minutes)
CARDIO-BODY TRAINING : Burn fat and tone your body with this blend of cardio and strength-training using a variety of equipment including steps, resistance bands, and medicine balls, to get a strong, sleek body. (55 Minutes)
CARDIO CHALLENGE: Join us for an hour of combined athletic step, rebounding, plyo-metrics,
intervals, and weight work. A true heart-pounding, cross-conditioning workout! (55 Minutes)
A.M. CYCLE: An early morning ride to get your heart pumping and your eyes open. (55 Minutes)
CYCLING: Suited for all fitness levels. This class combines entertainment and exercise in one
fat-burning, thigh-trimming package.
EXTREME BOOT CAMP : A total body workout! Short, intense cardiovascular segments and functional
training movements followed by strength training and core conditioning. (80 Minutes)
NADIA'S GRAB BAG OF TORTURE: Join Nadia for a challenging and varied workout every week. You never know what she's going to pull out of the bag but you know it's going to be torture. This is a full-body workout that encompasses strength and stamina both muscularly and cardio-vascularly! (55 minutes)
RE-CYCLE: This advanced class is a remix of the best of the Tue/Thu 12:30 cycling class drills, recycled, for a burn into your weekend! All particpants should bring water for hydration.
VICIOUS CYCLE: This advanced class challenges rider’s endurance and toughness. Extreme
components include intervals, out-of-the-saddle riding, climbing, and sprints. Beginners always welcome and should
speak with the instructor before class for set up help. All participants should bring water for re-hydrating and a
towel.
Due to the popularity of this class, it is limited to our monthly dues paying club members, only, unless there are open seats when class starts. Passes for this class are handed out 15 minutes prior to class start, 12:15 PM.
SCULPT
ABDOMINATRIX: 30 minutes of abdominal submission led by our own Mistress
of Sculpt Jon Milazzo.
ALL IN ONE: Three
ways to improve your overall health in 60 minutes! This class incorporates balance, core training, resistance
work, and basic group cycling skills. No previous experience necessary. This basic class is perfect for a health
club novice. (60 Minutes)
BASIC MAT PILATES: Based on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, this core-conditioning class will
strengthen and lengthen all major muscle groups. Relaxation, proper technique and breathing are also covered.
Open to all, including beginners. This would be an excellent addition to your workout program. (55 Minutes)
ULTIMATE CONDITIONING: Come prepared to be pushed to the limit as you are taken through a total
body workout by our own A.M. diva. (55 Minutes)
YOGA / FLEXIBILITY
ACTIVE DEEP STRETCH: If you experience muscle soreness, stiff joints, an
aching back, or just want to work on touching your toes, this is the class for you! This class is designed to
help you stretch the connective tissues of the body, lengthen muscle tissue and create space in joints. All
stretches are done sitting or lying down and are strategically sequenced to provide optimum benefit. Primary
areas of focus are hips, hamstrings, shoulders, chest, and the spinal column. No experience necessary! (75
Minutes)
BASIC HATHA YOGA : This 75-minute class is designed to those new to yoga and those wishing to
build a solid and thorough foundation for a future advanced practice. This morning class will cover
basic meditation, breathing techniques and beginner asanas (postures) all within the classic framework of
Hatha Yoga. An overall sense of relaxation, increased strength and flexibility as well as integration
between heart, body and mind are just a few of the benefits this class can bring to the regular student.
VINYASA YOGA: Vinyasa yoga is the steady flow of connected yoga postures linked with breath
work in a continuous movement. All levels welcome. (55 Minutes) |
